Mothers Rebuilding America is committed to helping woman, young girl and seniors all over the US. We provide realistic and practical services to accomplish our mission. The organization has received great reviews by: The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Atlanta Daily World, Essence Magazine, Good Life Magazine, Cross Roads News, Charming Shoppers VOICES, On Common Ground News and The Granite City News. Mothers Rebuilding America is a Georgia based 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to assist low-income women and girls become economically self-sufficient whole human being, by providing non-traditional exposure to life possibilities.
We empower women and girls through self-discovery, self-development and self-motivation. Women and girls are also empowered by being exposed to non-traditional education and occupational experiences.
MRA is designed to provide basic life skills and technical training to low-income women and girls ages 5 to 100. We stimulate the mind, body and soul, encouraging girls to Dream it, Believe it and Do it. We emphasize that it doesn't matter where you live you control how you live.
ABOUT US
Women are an essential asset to better households and communities. Women have the capacity to create and nuture. Although this is true, many women are faced with many barries in life and lack of self confidence and encouragement to move from one situation to a better life.
"Oppression creates a low-level functioning and excessive environmental stress. Without approiate and adequate social systems to support excessive stress, there are failed families with inadequate emotional support for children. This causes dependency deprivation and depression". Mothers Rebuilding America is trying to stop the cycle of dependency and create a generation of self-sufficient whole human beings, who will in turn raise the next generation to be economically self-sufficient.
The organizations methods of stimulating the mind , body and soul, will not only rebuild things but help rebuild lives.
